The PA GIS Conference is committed to providing an environment that is conducive to learning and part of that is a reasonable expectation that Conference attendees will behave as adults. Attendees should recognize that they are representing their county, agency, academic institution, or company when attending this event and conduct themselves accordingly. The PA GIS Conference wants to make certain that everyone attending the 2021 Virtual PA GIS Conference can participate fully in the educational programming offered without fear of harassment or disruption from other attendees.
Exhibiting the behaviors listed below may result in expulsion from the 2021 Virtual PA GIS Conference. The 2021 Virtual PA GIS Conference planning committee (“Host”) empowers LearningTimes (“Producer”) to remove attendees from sessions where the behaviors below are exhibited. The name and specific behavior(s) of anyone removed from a Virtual Conference session will be reviewed following the Conference and – depending on the severity of the behavior – may result in a ban from attending future PA GIS Conferences.
- Sending or posting discriminatory, harassing or threatening messages or images.
- Sending or posting messages that defame or slander other individuals.
- Engaging in harassment based on an attendees’ membership in a protected class (race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, or disability).

By attending the 2021 Virtual PA GIS Conference, all attendees agree to not engage in behaviors that could result in their expulsion from the 2021 Virtual PA GIS Conference.
This Code of Conduct shall apply during all live sessions, social events and all forums/discussion boards hosted by the PA GIS Conference.
